The Chair of Materials Science and Engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg is pleased to announce the Sino-German Workshop on Accelerated Discovery of Durable Thin-Film Photovoltaics, jointly organised by FAU, Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH and Jinan University.

The three-day workshop will bring together leading researchers from Germany, China and other international institutions to discuss recent advances in perovskite and organic photovoltaics. Particular emphasis will be placed on material and device stability, scalable fabrication, interface and morphology engineering, high-throughput experimentation, artificial intelligence, sustainability and recycling.

The workshop will begin on 15 July with guided laboratory tours at the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nürnberg for Renewable Energy and the Energy Campus Nürnberg. The scientific programme on 16 and 17 July will take place at ZOLLHOF in Nürnberg and will feature invited presentations from internationally recognised experts, as well as a poster session and opportunities for scientific exchange and networking.
