Shudi received the Best Contribution Award at the Materials for Sustainable Development Conference (MATSUS Fall 2025), held in Valencia, Spain, from October 20th to 24th, 2025.

In his presentation titled “Scalable Printing of High-Quality Perovskite Layers for Efficient, Fully Printable Solar Cells and Modules,” Shudi highlighted recent research published in Energy & Environmental Science (https://doi.org/10.1039/D5EE01722J). In this work, a 2D perovskite layer was introduced to eliminate interfacial void formation between the perovskite layer and the substrate, a challenging issue that often limits device performance. By fabricating void-free perovskite layers over 1 μm thick, the team successfully demonstrated fully-printed carbon-electrode solar cells with enhanced performance on both rigid and flexible substrates.
